Happy New Year everyone! Register today for the Carolinas RIMS January luncheon on January 20, 2011 at the Renaissance Hotel (2800 Coliseum Centre Drive) in Charlotte. We will be joined by Mark Popolizio, J.D., of Esquire NuQuest/Bridge Pointe as he presents "Why MMSEA Section 111 Reporting is Not the Only Medicare Game in Town".
For the past three years, much of the claims industry has focused on addressing Medicare's new Section 111 MMSEA reporting requirements. However, what has been flying under the claims radar is another Medicare compliance obligation that in many ways could have a more direct impact on every day claims handling and settlement: Medicare Conditional Payments.
Mark Popolizio, J.D., is the Vice President of Customer Relations for NuQuest/Bridge Pointe. Prior to joining NuQuest in 2006, Mark practiced workers' compensation and liability legal defense for 10 years out of Miami, Florida. During this time, he developed a national Medicare practice which included Medicare Set-Asides and Medicare Compliance. Mark provides educational training and presentations on MSA/Medicare issues at industry seminars and events across the country.
As you know, registration begins at 11:30am and lunch is served at 12:00pm. If you need directions, please visit the Renaissance Hotel's website. See you there!
